Common Mistakes that are throwing off your skincare routine

Do you ever feel like no matter what you do, you aren’t seeing changes in the look, feel, and health of your skin? 1. Using face wipes 

We all love the convenience of face wipes, but the harsh truth is that they do more harm than good. Wipes are not a substitute for washing your face - sure, they may remove most of your makeup (to the eye), but they’re also taking some of those essential oils from the surface layers of your skin with them, while pores remain clogged. While face wipes can be handy for the gym bag or traveling, you shouldn’t be relying on them as part of your daily routine.

2. Applying Too Much

Repeat with me, “LESS IS MORE”. It’s easy to get sucked into what new product the influencer is promoting, or what new goodies you get in your BirchBox, but this is a risky move. Mainly, because you could be using products that are working against each other, are made with harmful pore-clogging ingredients, can cause irritation, and more. Keep it simple, people. 3. Exfoliating too much/too little

Exfoliation is healthy for your skin, as it removes dead skin cells from the surface and helps other products work more efficiently.
