It is definitely a great idea to try to go green when it comes to skincare this year, especially because it's easier than ever before with evolving technology.
Many believe that aluminum-based antiperspirants may increase the risk of cancer, and while there might not be too much decisive evidence, it's a smart idea to make the switch anyway. The aluminum can clog sweat glands, and the underarms are a very important detox pathway. Aluminum congests toxins in that area which can cause major problems. Switching to a natural deodorant allows sweat to come out, but dries it immediately and can offer a natural fragrance as well.
Micellar water has become very popular over the last few years as an excellent way to remove makeup and clean the face without leaving an oily residue - you don't even have to rinse afterwards. However, they contain lots of ingredients such as preservatives that cause problems in the skin. Rosewater has the same effect, minus the bad ingredients!
We know this might not seem like part of the skincare regimen, but water is the absolute best thing you can do for your skin. As soda and sugary beverages hurt your skin, make the switch!
